High Wycombe
Town Twinning
Association
The twinning between High Wycombe and Kelkheim approaches 35th anniverary.
The twinning agreement between High Wycombe and Kelkheim was signed in 1985 and the twinning arrangement between the two towns is still going strong.
Supported on the High Wycombe side by the High Wycombe Town Twinning Association, the two towns still have annual meetings, alternating between High Wycombe and Kelkheim. As we leave the European Union, links like this are even more important at maintaining relationships between residents of different countries of Europe.
This year’s twinning trip
This year we are hosting a group from Kelheim who will be visiting for a weekend in September. Final details have yet to be agreed but if you would like to host an individual or family from our twin town, please contact us by emailing secretary@hwtta.org.uk.
Tony Green, Chairman of High Wycombe Town Twinning Association discusses the twinning with Kelkheim with Chris Phillips on Wycombe Sound radio. The interview can be listened to by clicking on the player below.
