High Wycombe

Town Twinning

Twinning visit from Kelkheim

This year we hosted a group of 17 from Kelkheim. They arrived an hour and a half late at Heathrow Airport and we took them to Brooklands Museum for lunch and  to look around the museum where there are lots of old cars, motorcycles and planes.

On the Saturday we went by coach to Warwick and had a look around the castle and the town. In the evening we all met together for a dinner at the Hazlemere Golf Club.

On Sunday we met in West Wycombe and explored the caves before having lunch at the George and Dragon. A coach then took the German party to Heathrow for their return flight to Frankfurt.

Youth visit

A project with Kelkheim and Wycombe Youth Action has resulted in a group of ten girls from High Wycombe visiting Kelkheim for a week at the end of October last year. A return trip was made this October when girls from Kelkheim visited High Wycombe for a week.
